just:store & Archiware P5

The just:store high performance storage and workflow appliance is the latest addition to ToolsOnAir’s product range. It provides low latency, extremely consistent bandwidth, easy file level access and scalability to fulfill the demands of broadcast professionals.
To ensure maximum data availability and security, just:store is combined with Archiware P5 Synchronize and P5 Archive.

P5 Synchronize mirrors data onto a secondary just:store to make sure that, in case of emergency, a simple switch to the mirrored storage will give access to all data without the need for a restore.
P5 Archive migrates data from just:store to disk, tape or cloud Archive. Finished projects and unused material no longer take up space on the production storage, so it can always be used to its full capacity for current content.

At the same time, archived material is stored safely and can be searched and restored using the Archive catalogue, including metadata and preview files. Archiving on LTO tape is the most cost effective and safe way of storing your material, with the lowest cost per TB of any storage media and a certified life span of 30 years. Archiware P5 Archive is compatible with LTO tape drives and libraries from all manufacturers.
