Cubbit & Archiware P5
Geo-distributed Cloud storage, customer controlled with integration of local S3 storage for flexible Backups and long-term Archive.
Cubbit S3 is an innovative S3-compatible software and storage solution with a new data distribution model. Instead of storing data in a single location, data is encrypted, split into chunks, and redundantly stored in a geo-distributed network where customers have full control and ownership over their data. The Cubbit software can also be used with dedicated on-prem S3 storage. Together with P5 Backup and P5 Archive, extremely flexible, scalable and cost-effective solutions can be built.

The innovative Cubbit software allows geo-distributed cloud storage networks to be deployed in minutes, according to individual requirements. Due to its flexibility and integration of on-prem S3 storage, it can adapt to almost any infrastructure strategy and internal policies. Additionally, it offers full data sovereignty, simplified workflows and reduced costs.
Since P5 Backup fully supports S3 storage, backups of production data are easily configured together with Cubbit storage as a target. Completed projects and files that are no longer used in production can easily migrate to long-term archive using P5 Archive and the Cubbit storage, saving costs for high-performance productions storage.
Archiware P5 Archive offers MAM-like features that empower media archives by making reuse and referencing of previous projects easy. Finding files and media becomes quick, since the archive becomes the file memory of the company. Both Backup and Archive profit from the features of Cubbit’s storage and orchestration options.
As a multi-tenant system, each tenant can be operated by a different user (or reseller), who has full control of metrics, configurations, reports, billing and policies. The configured cloud storage solution can be branded to create a marketable solution.
